Get a Library Card

If you live in our library district you may get a library card free of charge, as part of your tax-supported library service. (If you live in the East Dubuque School District you are also in the library district.)  Bring in a current Illinois Drivers License or Illinois photo ID to get signed up for a library card.

Your library card allows you to:

• Borrow books from us and from most other public libraries in Illinois.
• Use special online collections to find magazine articles and information you can't get just by searching the web.
• Borrow movies on DVD and video
• We also have audio books on CD 

Renew Books

To renew books and other items stop in or call the library at 815-747-3052.  It is helpful if you know your library card number to renew items.  Items may be renewed once.  If you need an item longer you can bring the item into the library and check it out again.
