The East Dubuque Elementary Preschool visited the library in May. Mrs Williams visits their classrooms each month and finishes the year with a tour and story here at the library. Students had a great time exploring the library.

The caterpillars came by mail and spun cocoons and finally transformed into beautiful butterflies. Children and adults both enjoyed seeing the changes happening in the butterfly house at the library. The students who attended the after school program Tuesday got a big surprise. They were chosen to release the butterflies.

Click on the blue Overdrive button to the right to begin getting ebooks at home on your Nook, Smart Phone, Kindle, computer or whatever device you have. You must have a library card to get free eBooks and Audio books.

The library carries many of the newest movies, bestsellers, audio books and children's books. We continue to add non-fiction books with the lastest information as well as information DVD's on travel and educational interests. Can't find what your looking for? We can interlibrary loan you a copy from libraries across the state and beyond. The system van delivers three times a week. We're always willing to work with patrons, community organizations and other libraries. Please ask, we're always interested in new ideas and projects.
